A fantastic Danish modern Model 97 teak rocking chair designed in 1958 by Holger Georg Jensen for Tønder Møbelværk, in original vintage green upholstery. Piece pre-dates Jensen’s work done for Kubus in the early-to-mid-1960s.
Gorgeous hand-crafted solid teak frame distinguished by striking space age-style boomerang-shaped runner and seat support sides. Tall seat back with robust shaped and tapered sides. Arm support joined to stretcher with a handsome exposed brass screw detail.
