This refined mid century modern writing desk was manufactured by Ejsing Møbelfabrik in Denmark and showcases the quiet elegance and thoughtful craftsmanship associated with Scandinavian design of the period. Crafted in richly grained teak, the desk features clean architectural lines balanced by warm materiality and precise detailing.
The rectangular top displays beautiful bookmatched teak grain, offering a generous yet visually light work surface. Below, the desk is fitted with three drawers, each constructed with dovetail joinery and finished with sculpted solid teak pulls. The top drawer includes its original lock and key. The drawer interiors are clean and well preserved, reflecting the quality of construction throughout.
The desk stands on slender tapered legs, giving it an airy profile while remaining sturdy and functional. The backside is fully finished, allowing the piece to float in a room and be viewed from all angles, making it ideal for use as a writing desk, home office desk, or studio workspace.
